The following is the real-life
story of Cynthia, a bilateral DIEP/ gastric bypass patient.
Dr. Levine,
I want to take this time to thank your for all that you have done
for me and my family. It is rare to find a doctor with your skills
and caring bedside manner that did not just look at me as a patient,
but as a person who needed you help. When others closed their doors
to my case you opened your heart. I have NEVER met a doctor that
did the things you and your staff did for me. What Dr. and his staff
send his patients flowers? That was beautiful. Thank you, thank
you, thank you. I know that you are not finished with me yet, but
I am neither worried, nor afraid because I know that God placed
me in the right hands. You are one-of-a-kind. You are a gift from
God. Again, I just want to say thank you. I take nothing for granted.
God Bless you and your staff.
Sincerely,
Cynthia
Tasha,
Sitting here while recovering I was reflecting on all that you
have done for me to make my transition for my surgery go as smooth
as possible. You did and excellent job in all the preparations,
the phone calls, people contacts, the warm greetings, small chats,
encouragements, sincere hugs and flowers. You are a young woman
that takes her job seriously and does it well. We as people can
easily tell a person about how bad they have treated us, but nine
times out of ten don't take the time to tell them the good things
that they have done for us. You young lady, have the gift of making
people feel comfortable even when we are nervous and afraid. (Yes,
even at my age.) I thank you. You and Dr. Levine are truly a Blessing.
Continue to touch people's hearts as you have touched mine. God
Bless.
Sincerely,
Cynthia
